The litigation attorneys at BFV have successfully handled many bench and jury trials in both state and federal courts. We have also handled a significant number of appeals in both the state and federal appellate courts. Our litigators also have extensive experience in arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution processes as well as in handling adversary proceedings in the bankruptcy courts.

We are an easily accessible and responsive resource for handling issues that affect many aspects of our clients’ businesses. Our litigators have seen how and where disputes arise and often work with the firm's transactional lawyers in preparing legal documents and structuring transactions to best protect against such disputes.

When disputes arise, we provide candid assessments that help our clients focus on what is best for the business, rather than the litigation process. We make every effort to understand our client's businesses and the effect the dispute has on that business. While we are tenacious advocates for our clients, we also take our role of counselors seriously and will advise clients to resolve matters when we believe doing so is in the best interest of their business. Recognizing that our clients often do not want to litigate, we employ common sense and creativity to resolve disputes at the earliest practical stage.
